Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. But at Flick, we provide specialist infant care and attention to help put your mind at ease. We offer a secure, nurturing, and responsive environment, where children have the freedom to learn, grow and safely explore in our custom-created indoor and outdoor areas. Our naturally gifted teachers will take note of your little one’s developmental stage and interests and respond with a tailored daily programme to foster healthy engagement and encourage holistic development.

 

UNDER 1's: At Flick we believe in nurturing your child, working alongside you to best cater their needs and keeping their routine as close to what they experience at home as possible. Our infant room is quiet, safe, and private, set away from the older age groups. Our environment is a cosy “home away from home” that provides them with the freedom to grow and develop at their individual pace. In our infant’s room we can cater for up to 6 children, we aim for a teacher/child ratio of 1 : 3 (may vary due to enrolment patterns).

OVER 1's: This is such a joyful, eventful, and busy age! Your child is gaining independence and mobility, they’re curious about everything, they are becoming more aware of themselves and their surroundings, and they’re learning at pace. Our Flick toddler area is specially set up for ‘the little explorer’. It’s a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment, with expansive indoor and outdoor areas, specialised equipment, and resources, and a rich, varied daily programme designed to give your child the freedom to learn and grow naturally. Of course our teachers pay special attention to your child’s unique needs and interests, and respond with tailored experiences to spark curiosity, encourage healthy development, and support holistic learning. Our Flick toddler room can cater for up to 14 children. We aim for a teacher/child ratio of 1 : 4 in this area (may vary due to enrolment patterns)
